Where Disciples are Made First: The Nuclear Family

BCF is first and foremost devoted to the nuclear family. Before the church existed, God instituted His family, comprised of biologically identified men who serve as husbands and fathers, and women who serve as wives and mothers. Mutually devoted monogamous husbands and wives are commanded to "be fruitful and multiply," and to make disciples of their own children. The mission field of every church should begin first within the families of the church, and the church family should be purposeful to resource and encourage their families to this end. Many churches unwittingly work against the parent's job to disciple their children, and many parents are happy to defer their responsibility to the church, if even for one hour a week. BCF exists to equip its families to disciple their children within the community of the family of God.
