Location
We will be at Yellowpine Ranch in Cuchara, CO. Accomodations will be a combination of ranch cabins, lodge bedrooms, and overflowing into the nearby Cuchara Lokal Inn. Cuchara is roughly a 13 hour drive from Boerne and is nestled behind the Spanish Peaks near Trinidad, CO. See the map below to plan your route or see possible excursions you might take in the area.
Getting around the ranch and the village is easy, as both are in the valley and are fairly level. The village sits at a healthy 8,600ft elevation, so if altitude causes health issues for you, please consider whether or not this is the right event for you.

Schedule
Plan to arrive by Monday evening and depart Friday morning. We will begin each day with breakfast together, then the day is yours to enjoy. We'll regroup for dinner, and then a time of worship and devotion around the campfire. Nightly worship will be led by Adi and Amzi D'Austria. Oh...and don't forget "Spicy Uno" every night (it's a BCF Family Camp tradition)!
Tentative schedule:
Monday - late afternoon arrivals for check-in and unpacking. Dinner served, then free time before our first evening worship and devotional. Later, saddle up for game time around a "Spicy Uno" table, or enjoy conversation around the campfire.
Tuesday - Start the day right with a short devotional and a healthy breakfast before breaking for the day. Pack a lunch to-go if you desire, and head out to enjoy God's creation with your family, or invite others on your outing. Regroup for dinner in the barn, then worship and devotion, followed by games and fellowship to end the day.
Wednesday - Wash, rinse, and repeat! No, really, please wash. The fellowship is better when you don't smell like nature. Following your day of adventure, we'll gather for dinner before heading to the Cuchara Mercantile and Mountain Park for worship and devotional, then back to the ranch for games and fellowship.
Thursday - Another start of the day together, then your excursions before gathering back at the ranch for a catered BBQ dinner. Afterwards, we'll head to Cuchara Pass where we'll worship God through His creation as the stars emerge above the Continental Divide.
Friday - breakfast and testimonials, then time to pack-up and hit the road! Check-out time is 10am.

To Do
Yellowpine Ranch is in the village of Cuchara, and is walking distance from the village boardwalk which contains restaurants, shops, mini-golf, and art. Nearby, there are fishing options, hiking and golf. The ranch itself offers horseback riding (on Thursday by appointment). Monument lake is a short drive away which has boat, kayak, and paddle boards available for rent. Whether you want to sit on the front porch and enjoy the scenery of the ranch, walk through the village shops, or get into the mountains for adventure, this location has so much to offer.
Visit Great Sand Dunes National Park, a 1.5 hour drive away or stay at home and visit the prayer stations along the Cucharas River on the ranch. One walk leads you along the river while pausing to contemplate the various portions of The Lord's Prayer, while another reflects upon Psalm 23.
