BCF desires to design and build a worship space in a more traditional church style that includes a beamed ceiling and natural light conducive to worship and learning from the Word of God that would seat 350-450 people (BCF is beginning to grow toward having 200 in worship service with 230 chairs being set out.  The school space can accommodate nearly 300 chairs.)  A thoughtful master plan will allow for church expansion without having to rethink the space when growth comes.

Bergheim is a beautiful place, and these twelve acres are some of the most beautiful in Bergheim!  We need a playground for young families and space for students to connect.  Could you envision a prayer garden and perhaps an outdoor amphitheater in this master plan?  

Church-as-family and discipleship are core to the heart of BCF, and spaces need to be built to enable both to happen for generations.  Adequate classroom space for discipleship hour where the youngest to the oldest learn to be more like Jesus, as well as a larger space for conversation and events are important pieces of this plan.  

A "stretch goal" for fundraising would allow The Cup to relocate to church property.  This would enable The Cup to be on owned space instead of leased, and allow it to continue to be a connected part of BCF's ministry to the Bergheim community.  Seeing how the current space has been used, The Cup needs additional meeting rooms of various sizes for the many student-led Bible studies that happen during the school year.

With a need for 18,000 to 20,000 square feet, site work, infrastructure and landscaping, furniture, fixtures and equipment, we anticipate needing $7M to $8.5M.  BCF has $1M already allocated for this project.  Our "stretch goal" for a permanent location for The Cup on church property would add approximately $1.5M to these figures.  Obviously, much work will be done in the remainder of 2025 to come up with a formal plan which will allow for contractor estimates.  Would you consider jumpstarting our "Advance Fund" toward this exciting opportunity?
